I'd like to share a few words with you.  Being a Realtor since 1990, I have seen the market change and shift many times over the years.  I can truly say right now, in 2010, this is your best chance ever to get a good value on a house at a good price .   Interest rates are at record lows but have started to inch upwards. 

If you are thinking about buying a house call the lender of your choice and get pre-approved.   A pre-approval letter adds strength to your offer when it is presented to the Seller

If you are a FIRST TIME HOME BUYER you are really in luck.  In 2010 there is a program where you can receive  a tax credit up to $8,000.00.  This was the 2009 program extended through April 30, 2010.  You have to have an accepted offer on a property as of that date but will have until June 30, 2010 to close on the property.  

There is also a program for people who have owned their homes and resided in them for 5 of the last 8 years.  There is the opportunity to get a 6,500 credit back from the government when selling and buying.  Again an offer must be accepted by April 30, 2010, and they would have until June 30, 2010 to close.  I can provide additional information upon request.

It sounds like these programs will not be extended.  I believe they will be done.  Don't miss out on your opportunity to share in this incentive.
